This unit cannot consider new grads at this time.  Neuro or Trauma RN experience preferred.  (BLS, ACLS, EKG cert.)

6B is a 15 bed medical surgical unit specializing in the care of patients who require frequent monitoring and nursing care. It is recognized as the designated unit for neurologic, neurosurgical, and trauma patients. Our focus is providing high quality care while incorporating a multi-disciplinary approach to patient management. Patients and diagnoses vary from the 14 year old accident victim with multiple fractures to the elderly post neurosurgical patient. The patients are followed by the teaching staff including members of the medical, surgical, trauma and obstetrical services.

We have a strong focus on the care and treatment of stroke and our efforts recently earned Banner Good Samaritan a national certification by The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center.

Requires current AZ or other compact state RN license. ACLS is required, PALS preferred or must obtain with in first 6 mos of employment.
