Responsible for perioperative procedures such as selection and placement of surgical instruments, supplies and equipment during surgery. Also will scrub and provide instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during surgical procedures.
| 1. Graduate of a surgical technology program or 2-3 yrs of operating room experience preferred. Position needs manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly. They also must be conscientious, orderly, and emotionally stable to handle the demands of the operating room environment. Must respond quickly and must be familiar with operating procedures in order to have instruments ready for surgeons without having to be told.
