Job Description

Full-time assignments available: 13-weeks, Med/Surg units.
Performs professional nursing duties including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of total care of each assigned patient. Initiate health care education to facilitate recovery of the patient. Provide direction and supervision to staff as appropriate. Collaborate with other healthcaregivers. Participate in quality improvement projects. Opportunity for cross-training to other nursing units.
At end of 13 weeks, may transfer to FT or 1/2 time (with benefits or higher pay in lieu of benefits). Conventional PRN opportunities also available.
Current RN license in NC. Must have minimum of 1 year recent, clinical Med/Surg experience. Must possess sufficient clinical experience and emotional and physical ability to perform all required duties. Effective communication skills required. CPR certification required. ACLS highly desirable.
