The Registered Nurse, using critical thinking skills, coordinates and provides safe, quality care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Discharge and learning needs are identified together with the patient/family and resource information is provided to meet these needs
Pain is managed by recognition, treatment, and documentation using pain intensity scale.
