Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Endoscopy Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for the patient in the Endoscopy area. The Endoscopy Registered Nurse demonstrates competence in the planning of care for the patient undergoing an endoscopic procedure and through the recovery phases of anesthesia. The RN participates in patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure/certification/registration: CPR Certification / Current RN licensure in the State of Texas
Experience Required:
Experience Preferred: Bilingual: English/Spanish
