Job Description

PURPOSE: Coordinates and monitors care of patients in the assigned clinical area. Triages patients utilizing the nursing process following established protocols and collaborating with physicians as necessary. This position also has compliance accountability and/or responsibility for Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures, the Principles of Responsibility, accreditation standards (if applicable), and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as, proper use of Kaiser Permanente Personal Computer (PC) and applications.

Required Experience and Training:
Current RN license in jurisdiction to which assigned. B.S.N. preferred. One-year current experience in HMO or ambulatory setting. Experience in IV therapy required. Working knowledge of CRT and PC preferred.
