Job Description
Qualifications: Current California RNP License. BLS certificate, Furnishing number and DEA number. Graduate of an approved RNP Program approved by the board of RNs or Nurse Examiners program. Must have UPIN (Unique Provider I.D. #) or be UPIN eligible, which means MSN and National Certification. Minimum one (1) year experience unless specified by department. Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors.Registered Nurse Practitioners must have UPIN or be eligible, which means Masters Degree in Nursing and National Certification (must be one of the following: The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; American Credentialing Center; National Certification Corporation for Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties; National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses; Oncology Nurses Certification Corporation; Critical Care Certification Corporation).
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish). OB Ultrasound curse/certification, basic computer skills, knowledge of C and Windows, Excellent and effective interpersonal skills verbal and written communication and customer service skills. Effective problem solving abilities, demonstrate competency with KPHC systems (electronic medical record) within sixty (60) days following training.
Notes: May rotate between Bellflower Hospital and Orchard MOB depending on department needs, hours and days may vary. Ability to work as part of a Health Course team with ancillary staff and physicians to provide quality health care necessary.
